Cassie Vollmer
Hearing Instrument Specialist
I grew up in Paris, ON. I went to Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated with a BA in Biology, then graduated from Conestoga College with a Hearing Instrument Specialist diploma.
When I was in university, a Hearing Instrument Specialist helped my mom reconnect with her family with hearing healthcare, and I wanted to help people in that same way.
As part of our team, I perform hearing assessments, select and fit hearing aids, and troubleshoot issues that people may have with their hearing devices and accessories.
Assisting people with hearing their best, whether that involves fitting and troubleshooting hearing aids or offering counselling on communication strategies, is my main passion each day when I come to the clinic.
When I’m not at work, I like to spend time with my husband; we go on walks, read many books, and go camping in our spare time. We’re in the middle of fixing up our house together, too! I also enjoy baking for my family, and I have two cats named Quark and Rex.
