Kasia Gabrys
Client Care Manager
I grew up in London, Ontario, and attended Fanshawe College - Sciences and TriOS College, where I studied to become a physiotherapy and occupational therapy assistant.
Since I was little, I knew I belonged in the health care field. Working in hearing care provides the opportunity for me to restore people's connections, which can be incredibly rewarding. I also have a strong passion for building rapport and strong relationships with patients over time. I love helping people improve their quality of life and building lifelong patient relationships.
My day-to-day responsibilities include patient coordination and scheduling, welcoming and assisting patients, client communication and follow-ups, supporting our hearing care professionals, participating in Beck Hearing Aid Centre community events and clinical outreach programs, cleaning hearing aids, and resolving hearing aid malfunctions over the phone and in person. Overall, my main role is to make sure patients receive organized, compassionate care from their first phone call and throughout their ongoing hearing journey with Beck.
Outside of the office, I like to stay active and focus on health and fitness. I enjoy working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I also run my own small business where I make organic, homemade treats for bunnies and dogs, which is something I’m really passionate about because I love animals and creating healthy options for them. Most importantly, I love spending quality time with my family and friends.
If you could have dinner with one person, who would you choose?
My grandparents. I have not seen them since I was a small child. I never had the opportunity to see them again before they passed.
